US Sailing Sanctioned Adult Sailing Classes
Looking to begin your sailing adventure? Ready to feel the wind in your hair and the spray on your face?

Toss the lines on the pier and lets get started! Earn your US Sailing Basic Keelboat certification with us in as little as 3 days! This course will teach you all the basics of sailing to competently sail a small keelboat, and is the most widely accepted credential for chartering a sailboat.
With this class you will receive:
An online module with tests, developed by US Sailing
US Sailing Basic Keelboat digital text book
18 hours of on water time with an instructor
US Sailing Basic Keelboat certification upon successful completion of course
1 Year membership to US Sailing
Enjoyment of small 4 person class sizes

Jackson Park Outer Harbor
These classe will be held at the beautiful Jackson Park Outer Harbor located at 6400 S. Promontory Drive, Chicago IL, 60649
Belmont Harbor
These classe will take place in Belmont Harbor, the closest harbor to Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, 200 W. Belmont Harbor Dr, Chicago, IL 60613
Montrose Harbor
In partnership with No Salt Sailing, Rainbow Races is excited to offer classes at Chicago's northernmost harbor this year. Classes will be located at Montrose Harbor 208, 230 Montrose Dr, Chicago, IL 60613.
First Experience Sail
Wondering if sailing is right for you? Looking to try it out before you jump on board? This class is for you! This class is the precursor to the above Basic Keelboat class, and designed to work in tandem with it. Those who choose this route will recieve a discount on their Basic Keelboat course. Registration will open shortly
